Prince George's County Police say they have made an arrest in the murder of a D.C. teen in Temple Hills.

18-year-old Darrell Sales, of Fort Washington, Md., has been charged with second-degree murder of 18-year-old Anthony Boatwright.

Police say at around 12:15 a.m. Monday, officers responded to the 5000 block of Temple Hill Road for a shooting. Officers found Boatwright on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the investigation revealed Boatwright and Sales met each other on the side of the road and got into an altercation. Sales shot Boatwright and fled the scene. Patrol officers set up a perimeter and found Sales not far from the shooting scene.
