Georgetown sex assault suspect sketch released

WASHINGTON -

U.S. Park Police have released a sketch of a sex assault suspect last seen in Georgetown.

Police say the attack happened back on Saturday July 7th on 31st street near the C & O Canal.

Police say the victim was pushed to the ground and sexually assaulted by the suspect.

The victim was able to get away.

The suspect is described as:

White Male, with a heavy Australian accent
Late 20's, Approximately 5'9", slightly overweight
Short dark hair, Scruffy beard
Wearing a polo shirt with white and blue horizontal stripes
Wearing shorts, unknown color
Unknown shoes
