Police arrested a man after they say he cursed at movie patrons and simulated having a gun at a movie theater in Annapolis.

The incident happened Wednesday shortly before 4:00 p.m. at the Bow Tie Cinemas on Solomons Island Road.

Witnesses say a man, identified as 25-year-old Kyle Nolan Tanner, entered the theater while a movie was playing, sat down in the front row, and began yelling expletives toward the screen and at the people watching the movie.

Tanner allegedly left the theater twice. When he returned a third time, he pointed at people in the audience simulating that he had a gun and continued to curse.

Tanner, and numerous patrons, fled the theater. He was quickly apprehended by police a short distance away near Old Solomons Island Road and Forest Drive.

Tanner was arrested and faces charges of Disorderly Conduct, Reckless Endangerment and Second Degree Assault.
