Residents along the 1900 block of Hicks Street woke up Sunday to find the tires slashed on their cars.
In all, 9 cars had their front right tires flattened. Police are investigating who, and how many people, are responsible for the vandalism.
FOX 29 crews were in South Philadelphia talking with some of the victims. One woman says this is the second time this month that her car had its tires slashed.
Earlier this year, Philadelphia's Mayfair section was plagued by tire slashings. Police arrested David Toledo in that case, and his trial is set to start in August.
