Philadelphia Officers Hurt In Crash

Two officers are recovering at the hospital, after their prisoner transport van was T-boned at Cottman Ave and Cottage Street Saturday morning.

Police say the van was driving down Cottage Street around 5AM when it was hit by a red pick-up truck. It's unclear which vehicle had the right of way.

The two officers, and the driver of the pick-up were all taken to Aria-Tooresdale hospital with neck and back pain. They are all excepted to recover.

Police are investigating the crash. There were no prisoners in the van at the time.
