Aberdeen police say they are receiving numerous calls to a tip line set up following the abduction of Vi Ripken.
Police announced Friday that the case remains under active investigation, but said they don't have any other information to release.
Investigators say the mother of Hall of Fame shortstop Cal Ripken Jr., was held for nearly 24 hours before being found tied up in her car just down the street from her home. Investigators say she was taken at gunpoint from the home Tuesday morning and driven in her Lincoln Town Car through parts of Harford and Baltimore counties before being returned early the next day.
Police have released photos of a suspect that appear to be from a surveillance camera, but investigators have not revealed where they were taken.
