Children rescued from barricaded home in Bowie - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

A man and two children were barricaded inside a home along Orchard Run Drive in Bowie Friday.

Officers say a swat team was able to rescue the children from the home without the father being aware.

The father then surrendered to police.

Police cannot say if the man was armed.

No injuries were reported.
