OAKTON, Va. -
Two people have died after an apparent murder/suicide shooting in Oakton, Va. Wednesday.
The shooting occurred at the Trevor House condominium complex in the 3000 block of Trevor House Drive.
One neighbor told FOX 5 that he heard a gunshot at around 6:30 p.m. Within minutes, the place was swarming with officers from Fairfax County Police.
Police say 43-year-old Ihab R. Qutob was found dead in the home from an apparent gunshot wound. 27-year-old Alexander A. Rios was found in the home with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Rios was transported to a local hospital where he died a short time later.
Residents say the two men lived in the apartment where the shooting happened. Both were described as friendly.
