WASHINGTON -

Is Mayor Vincent Gray now avoiding questions about his campaign, or is the media focusing too much on the investigation?

The focus of Gray's bi-weekly media briefing was to unviel a new "One City Action Plan." The plan calls for improvements to public saferty, education, employement, and many other services in DC. The Mayor answer numerous questions on that topic for over an hour. He also discussed an effort to decrease power outages by forming a task force.

But when the Mayor opened up the briefing to general questions, he cut it off after two questions. Reporters rushed into the hallway where Gray typically answers more questions. But Gray walked away without answering more questions.

Gray's spokesperson, Pedro Ribeiro says the Mayor was not trying to avoid questions. "He's got a city to run folks. He takes an inordiante amount of time talking to you guys. I can't keep him in a room for three hours answering every question," Riberio said.
