Montgomery County Police are on the hunt for a suspect accused of stabbing a man and stealing his car.

The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Monday on Frederick Road in Germantown.

Police believe the suspect and the victim know each other.

They say the two got into a verbal altercation that escalated into an assault.

Police say they know the identity of the suspect.
