Metro trains moving again after computer issue

Posted: Updated:
WASHINGTON -

Metro says trains are moving again after an earlier computer glitch caused officials to hold trains at stations.

Metro says the issue began shortly after 2 p.m. Metro spokesman Dan Stessel says that depending on where the trains were on the line, passengers were stopped for between 30 and 45 minutes.

Stessel says the computer issue affected Metro's ability to see where trains were on the lines.

The cause of the problem is under investigation.
