Bobby Mitchell is an NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver who played for the Redskins. Twenty-two years ago he came up with a unique idea to benefit his favorite charity, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
You don't often find 46 Hall of Famers in the same place at the same time but that is the power of former Redskin Bobby Mitchell.
And when he has a belief and passion for something, so do his friends and that belief has helped many people in their battle against blood cancer.
Mitchell dedicates his work to the more than 1 million Americans living with blood cancer. Particularly the young people who battle leukemia, which causes more deaths than any other cancer in children under 20.
Sunday the Hall of Famers tee off. For a 5 dollar donation, the public can come out and cheer on their favorite legends.
