Armed men cut hole in roof of payday loan business, steal cash

ARLINGTON, Va. -

Police are looking for two men they say robbed a payday loan business after entering through a hole they cut in the roof.

The incident happened Monday shortly after 9:00 a.m. at the ACE Cash Express at 2254 Huntington Avenue in Alexandria.

Police say an employee heard a crashing sound then saw two armed men inside the store. The armed men demanded money from the safe and fled the location with an undisclosed amount.
No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspects are described as black, in their 20's, wearing masks, gloves and dark hooded sweatshirts. One was 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighed 280 pounds. The other was 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed 185 pounds. He wore dark sunglasses and a red bandana.
