Police investigating report of sexual assault in Gaithersburg - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

Montgomery County Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault near the Hadley Farms Community Center in Gaithersburg, Md.

Police say a woman in her early 20s reported she was attacked from behind on a path at around 5 p.m. Monday.

She was taken to a local hospital for examination.

Police say this type of crime is rare in this area and they are telling people who use the path and the community center to be aware of their surroundings and to report any suspicious activity.
