Our Ask theWeather Guy question comesfrom Roger in Kensington who writes, "Recent storms damaged a lot oftelephone poles, requiring their replacement. What becomes of the broken poles?How are they disposed? And would it not be better to replace damaged woodenpoles with metal poles like those along highways that snap off when struck, andare more easily replaced and can be recycled?"
