WASHINGTON -

President Barack Obama will be celebrating the nation's 236th birthday today at the White House.

The president returns from Camp David this morning. Then he'll deliver remarks at a naturalization ceremony for active-duty service members in the East Room.

In the evening, the president and the first lady will host a Fourth of July celebration with a barbecue, a concert and a view of fireworks on the South Lawn. Their guests will be military heroes and their families.

On Thursday, Obama will begin a two-day campaign bus tour in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
