HENRY COUNTY, Ga. -

Strong winds toppled over trailers and damaged homes in Henry County on Tuesday.

The wind was so powerful that some trailers were found on their sides at a Briggs & Stratton distribution center on Highway 42 south in McDonough near King Mill Road.

"In the storm, we had about seven or eight trailers that were impacted," said Sabrina Puckett of the Henry County Fire Department.

One tractor-trailer driver was inside his rig when it was blown over. He was hospitalized about being extracted. He is expected to be OK, according to Puckett.

Just down the road, several homes in a neighborhood suffered damage.

Ryan Thomas, 9, was home alone with his big brother when the storm blew in.  When the storm was over Ryan couldn't find his cat, Skittles, anywhere.

Lee Morris said his trampoline blew over the fence, passed through two yards and landed across the street – a journey of about 100 yards.

Tim Richardson lost some siding on his home, but was more upset about losing his latest project.

"I lost my batting cage that I worked two days on trying to get done for my kids and now it's demolished," Richardson said.

The good news was that Skittles the cat was found unharmed late Tuesday night.
