Deadly Storm Kills 2 Boys At State Park

Posted: Updated:

Two young cousins died early Saturday morning, when a tree fell on their tent at Parvin State Park.

The boys, ages 2 and 7, were camping with their families. Heavy winds and rain stormed in overnight, and the family decided to huddle together in one tent. That's when a pine tree snapped, falling onto the tent.

The DEP announced on their website that the Parvin State Park suffered significant damage from the storms, and is closed indefinitely.

Authorities are investigating.
