WASHINGTON -
Metro will be performing track work on the Orange, Blue and Red lines that will affect service this weekend.
The work will begin 10 p.m. Friday and continue through closing on Sunday.
Free shuttle buses will replace trains between Stadium-Armory and New Carrollton on the Orange line and between Stadium-Armory and Benning Road on the Blue line for track maintenance.
Single tracking will occur between Judiciary Square and Rhode Island Avenue and between Medical Center and Grosvenor on the Red line. Metro says customers should allow 10 minutes of additional travel time on the Red line.
