Sarah Palin thanks Supreme Court, calls health care ruling a 'big bleeping deal'

WASHINGTON -

Former Alaska Governor and 2008 Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin called the Supreme Court ruling on President Barack Obama's controversial health care-law, "A big bleeping deal."

"Thank you [Supreme Court]. This 'Obamacare' ruling fires up the troops as America's eyes are opened! Thank God," she said in an email to FOX News Thursday. "We will not retreat on this."

The Supreme Court upheld nearly all of Obama's health care law. In a 5-4 decision, the court-ruled the so-called individual mandate constitutional. The mandate requires most Americans to obtain health insurance starting in 2014, or face a financial penalty.

Palin said 'Obamacare' not only takes away choice and freedom, but she-believes-the law, if not struck down, will lead to the rationing of health care.

The former governor-said 'Obamacare' was "dealt in deception and confusion," and beating Obama in 2012 is the key to "defending our Republic and fundamentally restoring all that is good in America."

"See, Obama promised the American people this wasn't a tax and he'd never raise taxes on anyone making less than $200k," she said.

"We now see this is the largest tax increase in history," she continued. "It will slam every business owner and every one of the 50 percent of Americans who currently pay their taxes. The other 50 percent are being deceived if they think they're going to get a free ride -- because Medicaid is broke."
