Prince George's County officials are asking for donations to help the six-hundred people displaced by Friday's storm.

On Thursday and Friday, the Prince George's County Department of Social Services is collecting donations of non-perishable food and summer clothes for men, women and children.

The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday at 425 Brightseat Road in Landover.

Residents are still recovering from a microburst that struck the Bladensburg and Cheverly areas on Friday.
