WASHINGTON -
Police tell FOX 5 a worker at a DC homeless shelter is charged with burglary and sexual assault.
Police say Ronald Tibbs works as a janitor at the facility on Spring Road Northwest.
Investigators say Tibbs broke into a young girl's room Wednesday morning, laid down next to her and then inappropriately touched the child.
The girl's mother heard noises coming from her daughter's room, walked in, and stopped the alleged assault.
Tibbs remains in custody.
