
Concerns are growing that sex trafficking and prostitution will increase in London as the date for the Olympic Games draws closer.
According to a report on the Daily Mail Online, businesses - such as Olympic Escorts and Olympic Escorts 2012 – have already been spotted online.
Britain's largest children's charity, Barnardo's, expressed concern over children being trafficked for sex during the games.
The Metropolitan Police Authority has issued warnings and is prepared to staff extra officers during the games and Barnardo's has called for citizens to be extra vigilant.
Typically, major sporting events tend to create an increased demand in the sex trade industry.
