It's the dream of a lifetime for Little League players -- a chance to play in the World Series.
A local Chandler team has that opportunity, but they can't make it there without some help.
Caden Lipzpold is one of 13 Chandler baseball players lucky enough to take a trip to California next month for regional's.
For the past few weeks Caden and his teammates have been spending time at places like Peter Piper Pizza trying to raise money to travel to the tournament.
"We only have 5 weeks to do this and trying to raise $15,000 to get our 13 children and their families out there is quite an undertaking," says team mom Cecilia Lorea.
Lorea says the 7 to 9 year olds deserve to have this dream come true.
"They have been practicing 4 times a week then have optional hitting practice another day," she says.
"It's been very difficult. They played a lot of good teams, so they're just a good group of kids and they have a lot of fun," says team manager Matt Jones.
The competition takes place from July 19th to 24th, leaving a small amount of time to raise a big amount of money.
"We really need the support from the community to come out here and support these kids, to make this once in a lifetime opportunity for a lot of them to be able to travel."
