Volunteer ambulance crashes in Prince George's County

Police are investigating a volunteer ambulance crash in Prince George's County.

The ambulance was responding to a call at the time of the accident.

The accident happened on Bowie Road just off Route 1 near Fort Meade Road in Laurel.

Both Prince George's County Police and firefighters are investigating.

Police say three people were taken to the hospital. Also, two fire department members were taken to the hospital to be checked on.
