TEMPLE HILLS, Md. -

Prince George's County Police are investigating a sexual assault of a teen in Temple Hills.

Police say two sisters were walking near Easy Street and Kingston Drive at around 11:10 p.m. Tuesday when they were approached by a suspect from behind.

Police say the suspect pointed a handgun at both sisters, ages 15 and 26, and demanded they walk into a wooded area. The suspect sexually assaulted the younger sister.

The older sister came to the teen's defense and knocked the suspect to the ground, allowing her sister to escape.

The suspect struck the 26-year-old several times before he fled on foot. She was treated and released from the hospital.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 6' and 6'3", thin build, with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black cloth covering his face, black t-shirt and was armed with a handgun.
