A 3-alarm fire in Riverside, NJ leaves four families homeless this morning.
Flames broke out just before 1:30 early Saturday morning along Filmore Street. Fire officials say the fire started on the second floor of a home on the block. The blaze quickly spread to two more homes.
It took firefighters nearly 2 1/2 hours to put the fire under control. No one was hurt.
Today the Red Cross is assisting the four families who lost their homes. Officials say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
