Alabama woman accused of biting husband's genitals

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. -

An Alabama woman has been charged with domestic violence and assault after allegedly stabbing her estranged husband and biting his genitals, The Birmingham News reported Thursday.

Tiffany Ronita McGregory, 28, of Wylam, apparently admitted to the Saturday morning assault of her soon-to-be ex-husband, the newspaper said.

The 29-year-old victim, who has not been named, told police he was living with his mother pending a divorce and was asleep with his girlfriend when he woke to McGregory hitting and slapping him.- She allegedly gained access to the house through the basement door, The Birmingham News reported.

At some point in the assault, McGregory allegedly picked up a pair of scissors by the bed and stabbed the victim and then "bit him in the groin area," the newspaper reported.

It was unclear if the victim's girlfriend was in bed during the attack or if she was assaulted.

The victim's brother, who was also in the home at the time, called the police.

Jefferson County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Randy Christian said the victim should use caution around his estranged wife, who has been released from jail after posting $45,000 bond.

If I were him, I would step very lightly and politely around her," Christian said. "That hell hath no fury saying rings pretty true."
