DAMASCUS, Md. -
Some residents of the DC region are still cleaning up after Friday's severe weather outbreak.
The National Weather Service has confirmed that nine tornadoes touched down, all of them in Maryland.
The strongest were in Howard and Harford counties.
Those were EF1 storms with wind speeds of up to 110 miles an hour.
Three of the tornadoes struck in Montgomery County. One roared through Prince George's County. There was one in Carroll County. Two in Montgomery County were in Damascus.
The other one was in Poolesville.
