Makes around 8 servings
Sautee 4 bay leaves, 1 cup white onions and 2 cloves minced garlic in 1/2 cup of butter until translucent. Don't burn, it's fragile.
Stir in 1/2 cup of flour to make a thick roux. Keep stirring.
Slowly add 3 cups of milk and the 1 cup of cream.
Stir until all the roux is dissolved.
Stir in 4 lbs of your favorite cheese blend slowly letting it all melt before you add more. Mix it up! nutty, salty, sharp and creamy. Thats all I'm going tell you, let your pallet do the rest.
Boil your favorite macaroni noodles (around 3 lbs) until al dente.
You can now bake in the oven or mix in a frying pan and cook it stove top. Add more cheese than you think is needed, the pasta will soak a lot up. Add your favorite toppings!
