Atlanta Weather Forecast - Wednesday

Even though the sun was back out today temperatures were a good 14 degrees below normal on the day, with normal temperatures not returning until Saturday and Sunday.

ANOTHER COLD NIGHT: Once again temperatures will dip to near freezing in the northeast corner of the state where a Freeze Warning is in effect tonight for Lumpkin, White, Habersham, Rabun, Towns, Union and Fannin county until 9 am Thursday morning. The rest of north Georgia including metro Atlanta will see temperatures in the mid to upper 30s.

CLOUDS RETURN: Sunny skies will be with us again on Thursday before clouds spread north Friday in response to a storm system developing in the Gulf of Mexico. Rain will try to move north as well, but it appears that the rain will only make it as far north as Macon Friday evening and then move east overnight into Saturday into South Carolina.

EASTER WEEKEND: By Saturday and Sunday sunny skies will return and finally some milder air will return. Highs over the weekend will range from 70-75 with warmer air on the way for next week. The next chance of rain will arrive next Tuesday in the form of isolated showers.
