Police Release Video Showing Last Whereabouts of Vanessa Pham

Fairfax County Police have released video from surveillance cameras that shows more about the final minutes of Vanessa Pham's young life.

The video comes from several surveillance cameras at the Fairfax Plaza Shopping Center on Gallows Road. It shows Pham's white 2008 Scion driving around the mall. The vehicle is never shown parked.

But police spokesman Don Gotthardt says as the car was about to exit the mall, the vehicle stopped for 40 seconds before making the right turn out of the lot.

Police want to talk to the driver of a red, pickup truck seen making a left turn from Gallows Road into the lot. Gotthardt says the driver would have had the perfect opportunity to look into Pham's car and might be able to shed some light on whether or not she was alone.

Police also want to hear from several motorists in cars that were stopped behind Pham's car that day on June 27 between 3 p.m. and 3:24 p.m. Ten minutes after the white Scion turned right out of the parking lot, Pham was found dead in her car, which had crashed into a ditch.
