Linwood Johnson, Suspect Charged in Murder of Lenny Harris, Held Without Bond

A man arrested in the slaying of an Alexandria, Va., community activist whose body was dumped into a well has been ordered held without bond.

Linwood Johnson is charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of 53-year-old Lenny Harris, who had been missing since September. Prince George's County police say Harris was shot in the head, and his body was found late last month in a Fort Washington, Md., well.

Johnson, who is 49, appeared in Prince George's County District Court on Wednesday and his next hearing in the case is scheduled for Feb. 28.

Meanwhile, Prince George's County police say they are continuing to search for additional suspects in the case.
