HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR – Full Time Regular
Responsibilities include performing all generalist duties for the Fox O&O duopoly, including but not limited to direct and manage the Stations’ employee relations and employment programs and initiatives, recruiting/applicant tracking, performance management and performance evaluation administration, FMLA, worker’s compensation, policy administration, and affirmative action compliance and monitoring. Candidate will work in concert with Station management and Corporate Human Resources to ensure that all employment regulatory requirements are met and that all Company policies are adhered to. Other duties as deemed appropriate and assigned. Position requires at least five (5) years HR Management experience, Bachelors degree in HR Management, Organizational Development or related discipline, or equivalent work experience. Required skill set includes effective written/verbal communications, creative problem solving and conflict management, and strong computer skills. Must also have strong leadership skills. Prior experience working with collective bargaining agreements preferred. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and ability to develop solid relationships with all levels of staff essential.

News
PRODUCER, 10PM: Regular Full-Time: Produces the FOX5 award winning 10PM newscast. Selects stories, assembles them in a rundown, creates graphics, writes and copy edits the stories and coordinates Reporter presentation. Responsible for taking the show into the control room and timing it to include commercial breaks. Participate in the editorial process that leads to story assignments. Occasionally, produces content in the field and long form stories. Also manages website content. Other duties as deemed appropriate and assigned.
Requirements, Skills & Abilities: Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Communications. Have exceptional news judgment, strong writing and copy editing abilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and assemble content. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; exceptionally creative. Must be able to think out of the box and find new ways to present information. Must be self motivated and be able to work without supervision. Supervise the work of others. Possess three (3) years of newsroom experience, preferably as a Line Producer.
WRITER/FILL-IN PRODUCER [NEWS]: Regular Full-Time: Writes for assigned newscasts. Collects information, reviews videos and assembles content for newscasts. Incumbent will also be a Fill-In Producer. Selects stories, assembles them in a line-up, orders and reviews graphics, writes and copy edits the stories and coordinates Reporter presentation. Responsible for taking the show into the Control room and time it to include commercial breaks. Must participate in the Editorial process which leads to story assignments. Occasionally produce content in the field and/or long form stories for Air. Other duties as deemed appropriate and assigned.

REPORTER, [NEWS]: Regular Full-Time: This Journalist will research thoroughly, write clearly in broadcast style, edit video and present finished stories in a professional and engaging manner, for on-air or web broadcast. The Reporter is responsible for gathering news materials, interviewing persons both on and off camera; preparing and presenting packages/reports either live or on tape. Other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate.
Requirements, Skills & Abilities: Bachelor's degree in Journalism preferred. Working knowledge of non-linear editing equipment such as AVID is a requirement, as well as knowledge of broadcast cameras. Must have extensive experience in broadcast reporting. A minimum of five (5) years in broadcast journalism and two (2) to three (3) years experience reporting and editing is required. Must be able to meet aggressive deadlines while still completing high quality stories. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
SPECIAL PROJECTS PRODUCER: Regular Full-Time: We are recruiting for a Special Projects Producer with a successful track record in Investigative Journalism. Candidate must possess the skill set required for producing compelling stories including those associated with computer-assisted reporting as well as more traditional methods. In addition to our Investigative needs, the successful candidate will also manage our sweeps calendar and oversee Special Assignments/Projects for our Anchors and Reporters.
Requirements, Skills & Abilities: Must have strong writing and story telling talents, excellent organizational skills and meet required deadlines. Must have exceptional creativity, self-motivated and be able to work with minimal to no supervision. Good and quick decision maker. Supervise the work of others. Must possess at least four (4) years of Newsroom experience as an Investigative Producer.
Sales
Account Executive [2 Positions]: Regular Full-Time: We are seeking experienced Account Executives who will be responsible for all aspects of accounts, including Web, generating new business, and the creation and sale of unique promotional sponsorships. Candidates must be able to present and negotiate all aspects of the Station and website. Must be able to develop strong client and agency relationships and be strong at transactional business. Maintain timely paperwork and reports relating to sales activities. Excellent and detailed service on all accounts is expected and required.
Requirements, Skills & Abilities: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of three (3) years experience in Sales; TV Sales preferred. Candidate must have excellent communication, negotiation and organizational skills. Must have Industry knowledge and be able to work in a team environment.
NATIONAL SALES MANAGER: Regular Full-Time: We are recruiting for a National Sales Manager to manage the sales activities of National Sales Dept. Oversee national revenue budgets for WTTG/WDCA. Oversee packaging, pricing and inventory control. Work with reps in presenting all information pertinent to selling the stations. Communicate effectively and establish strong working relationships with national agencies and clients. Direct staffing, training and performance evaluations for sales staff. Local and National travel required.
Requirements, Skills & Abilities: Four year college degree or equivalent work experience required. 3-5 years of television experience required.. Detail oriented, resourceful, team player, reliable and self starter. Strong mathematical ability. Calculate discounts, interests, commission, proportions and percentages.
