Retired Horse Trainer Gets Back In The Saddle

In 2008, Eight Belles finished second in the Kentucky Derby – and then collapsed.

She was euthanized right on the track. People accused the trainers that the horse was not fit for the derby.

Last September Eight Belles trainer, Larry Jones said enough was enough and walked away from the sport – he retired.

Fox 29’s John Anderson visited Delaware Park and brings us the story of Larry Jones – who has found his way back into the saddle with the help of his wife and boss, Cindy.
