Wisdom Martin anchors FOX 5 Morning News from 4:30 to 7 a.m. weekday mornings with Sarah Simmons.

Wisdom Martin came to WTTG News in January 2003 as a general assignment reporter and anchor. In addition, Wisdom co-hosts a segment called "Off The Wall."

Before coming to Washington, Wisdom was a weekend anchor and reporter for 4 years in Nashville, Tennessee at WKRN news. Wisdom, who is named after his father, Wisdom David Martin Sr., graduated from Jackson State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. He started his career during his sophomore year in college working as a TV news Photographer at WAPT News in Jackson.

He's covered news and sports all over the country as a reporter at KSEE in Fresno, California, WRAL in Raleigh, North Carolina, and a weekend news anchor for CNN Headline News in Atlanta, Georgia.

While at FOX 5, Wisdom was the first reporter live on the scene during the station's Emmy-award winning coverage of the D.C. serial bank robbers. He covered Hurricane Katrina live from New Orleans. In 2007, he covered the murder of Redskins safety Sean Taylor live from Miami.

When he is not working, he enjoys speaking at different schools, working out and spending time with his wife, 2 daughters and son.
