CAPE CHARLES, Va. (AP) - Northampton County authorities have identified a body found on a barrier island as that of a fisherman who'd been missing since last December. The sheriff's office says the body of 54-year-old Gary Edward Webb of Williamsburg was found on Raccoon Island last week. The remote island is at the southern end of the Eastern Shore.

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The Diocese of Richmond is reaching out to disaffected or lapsed parishioners as part of a push to reinvigorate the local church. Bishop Francis X. DiLorenzo says there will be an increased focus on reaching parishioners who've left the church and those who don't believe.

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Philip Morris International says its first-quarter profit dropped nearly 12 percent as cigarette sales fell in its markets and it was hurt by foreign exchange rates for the U.S. dollar. The seller of Marlboro and other cigarette brands overseas said today it earned $1.88 billion, or $1.18 per share, in the January-March quarter.

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia is seeing an explosion of farmers' markets. The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services says the state has more than 240 farmers' markets statewide. That's a 180 percent increase since 2006.
