For one week, Fox 5 gave a video camera to Ebony Roscoe. After she abruptly left a problematic marriage, she found herself without a job, without a home and raising four children alone. When she gave the camera back, we found within her tape recordings a story of hope for thousands of families in our area facing homelessness.

D.C.’s Attorney General confirms that he is investigating allegations in the case, but would not go any further.

Firefighter Charged with Lying to Jury

A D.C. firefighter is under arrest, charged with obstructing justice in a shooting police say she witnessed more than two years ago. Court documents say Dominique Taylor was in uniform outside her apartment in May 2007 when a man she knew was shot and wounded. Witnesses say she failed to render aid while lying to police about what she saw. Police say she continued to tell those lies under oath to the Grand Jury.
