Here's the FOX 5 Top 5 for Tuesday, November 3, 2009:
#5: Starbucks is getting rid of its loyalty card programs and starting a new one. My Starbucks reward will be a combo of a Starbucks rewards card and a Starbucks gold card. You'll get pretty much the same perks, only now you get a free drink on your birthday. The new rewards card launches December 26th.
#4: Are you addicted to your credit card? WalletPop.com lists the warning signs of a credit card addiction. They include maxing out all your cards and then opening new ones instead of paying them off, not knowing how much you owe, and arguing with your spouse over money.
#3: Swine flu concerns prompted health officials to issue new guidelines for when adults should go to the emergency room. If you have a fever, a cough or sore throat combined with difficulty breathing, inability to keep liquids down, or changes in behavior, you should pay a visit to the ER. You should do the same if you're pregnant or have a chronic disease.
#2: Concerns about swine flu concerns have more kids winding up in the hospital with pneumonia. Doctors say parents bring their kids in fearing its swine flu, but it's really pneumonia. Symptoms include fever, cough and rapid breathing. Doctors say pneumonia can be a complication of any flu strain.
#1: First it was Montgomery County, and now at least 50 speed cameras are going up all over Prince George's County starting in January. The county council just gave the okay. The cameras will be near schools. Drivers caught going at least 12 miles over the speed limit will get hit with a $40 ticket.
