WASHINGTON - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is scheduled to resurface multiple ramps along the I-395 corridor this weekend, weather permitting.
Beginning at 7 p.m., Friday, July 30, crews will be paving the following ramps:
* I-395 ramp at 2nd Street/C Street to Washington Avenue
* I-395-Ramp from 3rd Street to Mall Tunnel (north and southbound side)
* I-395 ramp from 2nd Street and D Street, SW (north and southbound)
* I-395 ramp from 2nd Street and C Street, SW to I-295 (outbound)
* I-395 ramp from Mall Tunnel (northbound) to D Street, NW (right side at top of ramp)
* SE/SW Freeway ramp leading to Pennsylvania Avenue
* I-395 southbound lanes from Case Bridge to 14th Street Bridge
All work is expected to be completed by 5 am on Monday, August 2, 2010.
Signs will be posted to guide motorists around the work zones and drivers are urged to use caution when entering and exiting I-395 in the District this weekend.
