GREENBELT, Md. - Metro is warning riders of delays after a piece of track equipment broke down on the green line.
Trains are single-tracking between the Fort Totten and Prince George's Plaza metro stations Friday morning.
Metro officials say one of the rear axles on the piece of track equipment was severed on as the equipment headed back to the Greenbelt rail yard. Officials say no one was hurt.
Crews are working to remove the equipment but there is no word on when that will be.
