Alejandro Moreno scored the tying goal in the 59th minute and the Columbus Crew pushed their home unbeaten streak to 17 games with a 1-1 draw with D.C. United on Saturday night.
Christian Gomez scored his fourth goal in the 33rd minute for to give United (5-3-9) the lead, but the Crew rallied to extend their streak despite being outshot 22-9. Columbus' 11-0-6 run at Crew Stadium is one game shy of tying the MLS record for home unbeaten streaks.
Columbus (5-3-8) got the equalizer when Steven Lenhart, who entered at the start of the second half, flicked a cross from Emmanuel Ekpo to Moreno and he settled the ball before scoring his third goal.
