PRINCE WILLIAM Co., Va. - A 17-year old California girl is being treated after escaping from a man and woman Prince William County Police say were prostituting her.

Marc Brickhouse, 32, and Julie Ann McKenna, 21, both of Brooklyn, New York are facing several charges in connection with the case.

Prince William County Police say the teenager ran away on Sunday, from a Residence Inn hotel in Woodbridge to a Babies-R-Us store in the 14100 block of Crossing Place. They say she was wearing pajamas and asked for help.

During the investigation, police learned the teenager initially ran away from home in California in December 2009. An acquaintance, later identified as McKenna, assisted her by bringing her from California to New York.

Police say once the victim arrived in New York, McKenna and Brickhouse began prostituting her.

They say the victim was later transported to Prince William County and stayed in a hotel in the Woodbridge area for approximately four weeks.

The victim was transported back to New York. Then on Saturday, was brought back to Prince William County.

Police say McKenna placed a craigslist advertisement for the teen's services. They say "Johns" contacted the girl on a pre-paid phone and met her at the hotel. Brickhouse reportedly waited in the hotel parking lot during the encounters.

Police say McKenna and Brickhouse physically abused the teenager and told her they "owned her."

The U.S. Marshall's Fugitive Task Force tracked McKenna and Brickhouse to a hotel in Laurel, Maryland.

The pair was arrested and transported to Prince William County. McKenna and Brickhouse are being held without bond and will have a hearing in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

Police don't know if there are other victims. The investigation continues.
