DC Paying Rent for Empty Buildings

Millions of your tax dollars are paying for an empty building. FOX 5 has uncovered properties leased by the D.C. government that no one is using.

At the same time people and governments are looking for ways to save money, the D.C. government has been renting a building it's not even using for more than 500-thousand dollars a month!

D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty admits he's not blameless in this leasing nightmare. FOX 5's Beth Parker investigates.
