WASHINGTON - A Silver Spring lawyer made his fifth trip to the Gulf coast trying to help fishermen navigate through a maze of paper work and file claims.
Kevin Goldberg is a lawyer with a personal connection to that region after attending Tulane University in New Orleans.
He says he initially traveled back to the fishing community of Shell Island, Louisiana just to see for himself how the area he used to visit was doing.
Now, he is in the middle of the fight to make sure the oil spill victims are compensated.
FOX 5’s Tom Fitzgerald has more on how Goldberg is helping out those fishermen in a class action lawsuit against BP.
