TYSONS CORNER, Va. - What do you do when the fourth largest snowstorm in the history of your city blows into town on the weekend of your wedding? In the year 2010, you improvise and get married on the web.
That's exactly what one couple did Saturday in Tysons Corner, Virginia. They were supposed to get married and a number of their guests were supposed to be flying in from out of town. But, the Blizzard of 2010 put a stop to those plans.
Still, even a blizzard couldn’t stop these vows from being exchanged. One of the couple's friends set up a USTREAM account, and streamed the couple's wedding live on the web. That meant even the bride's father—who was snowed out—could watch.
FOX 5's own Roz Plater was there, and she has more on how the Forte Wedding went off without a hitch.
