#5: It's not just about recycling. Green vacations for some mean trips to the beach and other vacation spots without clothes. It's called "naturism." Experts say it cuts down on laundry, soap and reduces water and energy use, and green naturism is gaining popularity in France.
#4: Looking for free weekend fun? Head to the National Mall! The 33rd Annual Smithsonian Folk-life Festival is underway. This year's festival features 'the power of words' in African-American culture, Latino music, and the arts of Wales. The free event runs through Sunday and starts up again July 1- 5.
#3: Aura migraines could permanently damage a woman's brain. The national institute on aging says the migraines, which include visual symptoms like flashing lights or loss of vision, could lead to lesions on the brain area responsible for coordination and senses.
#2: The air you breathe could increase your risk of cancer. A new federal report says nearly 600 neighborhoods in the U.S. have high levels of toxic air pollutants that could lead to cancer. Cancer risk rates in those neighborhoods are more than double the national average.
#1: A consumer alert: The FDA is warning people to stay away from two brands of pistachios tied to a salmonella-related recall. There's concern they may have been re-packaged and sold in airports and hotels. The brands are California Prime Produce and Orange County Orchards.
