WASHINGTON, D.C. - FOX 5's own Brian Bolter had a chance to take part in a meeting of the social media minds Tuesday along with folks from a number of government agencies here in D.C.
He was part of an expert panel at a workshop hosted by the American Health Professionals Association. The focus of the workshop was the role of social media, like Twitter and facebook, in a crisis.
The FBI, CDC, USDA, and many more were there to brainstorm and share ideas for finding the best ways to keep the public informed when safety is on the line.
