An Afghan immigrant accused of crafting a terrorist plot against New York City is due in court this morning.
Najibullah Zazi is slated to be arraigned in a Brooklyn court on charges he conspired to use weapons of mass destruction. The 24-year-old has denied any wrongdoing.
A law enforcement official tells The Associated Press authorities now know the identities of three other people believed to be in on the scheme, The source confirms the bomb plot could have targeted mass transit in the New York City area.
Zazi was originally charged along with his father and a Muslim cleric with lying to investigators.
