DAVIDSONVILLE, Md - Maryland State Police say four people have died after a driver went the wrong way on U.S. Route 50 between Washington and Annapolis and collided with another car.
Three people were dead at the scene, and one person died on the way to the hospital. Three of the victims were in the vehicle traveling the wrong way in the eastbound lanes. Police identified them as Breanna Marie Franco, 18, Brittany Ann Walker,19 and Zachary Tyler Rose, 19.
The name of the fourth victim, who was in the vehicle traveling the right way, wasn't immediately released.
Police are investigating. It is not known whether alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.
